Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bansal Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal. We started our journey in the year of 2000.

Over these years we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Mechanical Engineering curriculum and research.

We have B.E program at  undergraduate level and at the postgraduate level, we offer M. Tech. In Industrial Engineering and Management.

Our department offers science-based engineering curriculum. The primary focus of our curriculum is to impart technical know-how to students, promote their problem solving skills and innovation of new technologies.

Our department has a distinguished record in both teaching and research. Faculty members have excellent academic credentials and are highly regarded.

Several Faculty members have published their research findings in various International/ National journals, conferences and seminars.

The present intake is 90 and 18 studens in Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech.) and Master of Engineering (M.Tech.) - Industrial Engineering respectively.

At BIST we focus on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas.

It is intended to provide a modern, industry-oriented education in Mechanical Engineering Department. It aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of the Industry and also focus on developing a good citizen that will serve in the growth of Nation and Society.
